When will you get a new WordPress theme for this blog?

September 29th, 2007

I don’t know. I should have already taken care of this matter. But there are too many good WordPress themes out there (and some not so good ones too). I just can’t make my mind about it. I’d rather have a minimalistic theme here, but I can never find one that is minimalistic enough, if you know what I mean. So I may end up getting an entirely different thing if I lose my patience.

Why don’t you post some quotes as fillers?

September 17th, 2007

That would be great: I could post some quotes here everyday, so this blog would look active. But I’m just too lazy to go searching for quotes right now. Yes, it means that “Quotes” category won’t be put to use yet. I might remove it altogether, but I won’t be doing that either. You never know… I might change my mind and turn this into a quotes-only blog.

Do you actually know what to do with this blog?

September 13th, 2007

Of course not. Isn’t it obvious? But I’ve been putting some serious thinking on it. Pity I still haven’t come to any conclusions.

Why were you so happy yesterday?

August 29th, 2007

Because I had managed to get two items out of my to-do list. And no, I wasn’t cheating. I finished both activities indeed. I was, and I still am, very glad at myself.

All in all it was a very productive day and I even took the time to do things that I needed but hadn’t planned to.

Are you organised?

August 28th, 2007

Yes and no. I’ve been repeatedly thought to be quite methodical, and I can’t deny I am indeed. But a methodical person can make use of disorganised methods to keep things (rather) organised, and that seems to be my case.

Makes sense?

I knew it didn’t.

Where are your Quotes of the Month?

August 25th, 2007

Last year I thought about starting a “Quotes of the Month” section here. If you look at my sidebar, you’ll even spot a Quotes category. However, I’ve only posted one, and no more than one set of quotes. I simply forgot to go on with that little plan. I may resume it one of these days.

Do you like The Simpsons?

August 24th, 2007

Yes, I do. I cannot say I’m the greatest Simpsons fan of all time, but I do enjoy the series. Nowadays it isn’t as funny as it once has been, yet it’s a very entertaining TV show. The episode set in my hometown was lamentable though. No, I’m not being biased here. That wasn’t the first episode to disappoint me anyway. For instance, I didn’t like their travel to Australia, and I’m not an Aussie. Sometimes the series’ staff doesn’t seem to be able to notice the difference between making jokes and being pointlessly aggressive (and inaccurate).

Are you a feminist?

August 21st, 2007

Yes, yes and yes. I am a feminist. I have always been one. I have been raised by a strongly-willed woman, and have ever wanted to follow her example. Despite some sexist influences, I realised early in life that women don’t have to be fluffy, silly and merely decorative beings.

Do you like white clothes?

August 16th, 2007

No, I don’t. I rarely wear any of those. I believe it’s mainly due to my mother’s influence. She hates white clothes because… well, you know, they get dirty so fast, and for a housewife that may be quite a problem. I’m not a housewife, yet I agree with mom and this is why I avoid white clothing as much as possible.

When will you get married?

August 13th, 2007

Hopefully, I never will.

I don’t want to get married. I’m not interested in it. If other people think getting married is a good idea, that’s all right with me. But if they want me to agree with them, that’s all wrong.
